WALT solve division problems using an algorithm

This is how I work out 5/55 with algorithm


I asked how many 5's go in to 55 and my answer was 11 and that's how to use algorithm.

My next step is Solve problems using simple square numbers and can draw what they represent and make a table to show the pattern numerically.

Measurement learning

I have been learning to  find perimeters, areas and volumes of simple shapes : (1, 20, 22)

This was my learning goal because I not achieved it yet, on my measurement pre test.

I have gotten better at perimeter and area and I think i'm close to achieving my goal.

and that is my measurement learning.

To find the perimeter of a shape you need to add up the length of all sides.

To find the area of a shape like a rectangle you need to multiply length X width.

1. Sitting- a girl was sitting on a swing. (settled)
2. Replied- “ it's easy” the girl replied. (answered)
3. Pushing-the roundabout began to spin faster, without anyone pushing it. (working,turning)
4. “ jumped, May!” Ida jumped. ( hopped bounced lunged)
